Sounds like Wiz is getting back on point for his upcoming Taylor Allerdice mixtape, as he takes on the classic Fugee’s instrumental here. As for the guests it’s still weird to see Juicy J representing Taylor Gang, and TGOD’s new video-model-turned-rapper has potential but needs to drop the Nicki Minaj flow early if you ask me…
After a preview on Friday we get the full version of this beautifully put together new visual from Evidence’s excellent Cats & Dogs album. Check out the reference to the new Dilated Peoples album with him going to the photography studio at the end; hopefully we will get that Directors Of Photography project sooner rather than later…
After some brilliant promo videos for their new album (which is available today and probably their best work to date) OhNo and Alchemist team up with Jason Goldwatch once again for a hilarious visual for the album’s title track splicing together footage of World’s Wildest Police Chases with original footage…
Maffew continues to stay instrumental in bringing the New York sound back with his new visual for his latest single “Short Yellow Bus Theory”.
“Short Yellow Bus Theory” is not just a song it’s actually a statement and honest depiction of Industry politics and of course bullshit experienced first hand from the eyes of an independent artist. Salute to all entrepreneurs and independent artists…THIS IS YOUR ANTHEM!
The latest set of visuals from A$AP Rocky’s outstanding LiveLoveA$AP project is sure to get a lot of illuminati comments, but look beyond that and you get another well shot video, full of film references in which Rocky has a nightmare about selling his soul…
This track is definitely one of my favourites from the tape (although admittedly I’d probably say that about most of them!)
Harlem rap sensation A.$.A.P Rocky teamed up with VICE to create a video inspired by Scarface, Belly, Enter The Dragon, The Warriors and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.
Chicago newcomer Joe Cool dropped this simple yet effective visual last week to support the release of his new mixtape Cooley Hi which is available now. I haven’t had the time to check it out in full yet, but even if only for this track, it is well worth the download!
Look out for more from Joe Cool in the future!
Young Jeezy’s TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition finally dropped at the end of last year, and I had a great time listening to it. Hopefully we won’t have as long to wait for the next album though! Here are the latest visuals from the project’s 2 Chainz assisted track, and as a bonus check out Jeezy and Gangsta Gibbs’ take on ‘The Motto’…
Sean Falyon continues being everywhere with his latest visual take on my favourite instrumental from Watch The Throne. Check out his new mixtape (containing this track) SFBE Jackin’ 4 Beats here…
Just under a week after the release of HABITS & Contradictions Schoolboy Q drops the visual for his collab with A$AP Rocky from the project. I’ve had this playing pretty much all week and it’s already been worth the £5 I paid for it, so if you didn’t check this out yet it comes highly recommended…
Great use of a ‘Marvin’s Room’ sample, as STS continues to flip the commercial hits for his upcoming mixtape GOLDRush which is coming soon…
