To celebrate Weezy’s return from prison, a party was thrown in a spacious strip club in Miami (which despite the title, is not actually his home). Wayne swapped between cigars and lollipops and Baby threw all of his money about, they also heavily endorsed “Fever” energy drinks… Welcome Home Weezy!
Stephen Reedy of ZeroFriends Films (artist Alex Pardee’s latest venture), provides the visual for Cage’s “Captain Bumout” from his Depart From Me album. The piece feels very much like one of Pardee’s (who cameos, wearing some interesting eyewear) paintings. Hopefully Cage will release some new music soon…
At the EMA’s in Madrid, Kanye performs his collaboration, “Hurricane,” with 30 Seconds To Mars, then treats the crowd with a performance of “Power.” Looks like he is beginning to get bored of the Rosewood lately, which is a good thing in my opinion…
The visuals for Rick Ross’ “MC Hammer” kind of looks like a mash-up of the last two videos, with the addition of an appearance from the other half of Bugatti Boyz (Diddy) and a reminder that Gucci Mane is featured in the track (even if you can’t really hear his mumbled verse.)
