After Thurzday dropped his debut solo project earlier this year, his former partner Yonas has now released his first LP since U-N-I split. The project features input from the likes of Warm Weather, Phil Ade, Ro Blvd, Mainframe and stylistically takes influence from an eclectic collection of genres such as hip-hop, punk and r&b in the same vein as U-N-I did.

I know that one of the most anticipated releases of today is A$AP Rocky’s debut, and while it’s going to have to wait until tomorrow morning for me (it’s late here in the UK,) it is finally available for you’re listening pleasure. The flavour of the month still doesn’t have me fully convinced (although I do enjoy his music) so I’m looking forward to hearing him on a full length project.
Say what you want though, the Harlemite has started out strong after releasing ‘Purple Swag’ he has gained a tonne of co-signs, a tour with Drake and Kendrick Lamar and now a major label record deal. The expectations are definitely high for this one!
