Another great visual from Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire’s Mishka sponsored Lost In Translation project that dropped earlier in the year.
The more I hear from Mr Rojas’ upcoming Billionaire Boy’s Club & DJ Green Lantern presented mixtape, Breaking Point, the more I get excited to hear it; and yet still no release date has been announced…
The second collaboration brought to you by the Mobb and Nas this year! This one will appear on their Black Cocaine EP which drops next Friday…
After returning to form this year (despite some silly publicity stunts that initially put me off) with his latest record The R.E.D Album (executive produced by both Dr. Dre and Pharrell Williams), Dr. Dre protégé and ex-G-Unit member, The Game, will be returning to the UK next week to do two tour dates and, for once, London isn’t the target!
Game’s tour dates are both up in the North, the first in my hometown of Newcastle (at the O2 Academy) on Wednesday (23rd) and the second the day after at the Manchester O2 Apollo (24th). I’ll be interviewing Game for the site and from the research I’ve been doing, the live show looks great. So if you are near either city be sure to head out for the show, and check back later in the week for the results of my interview!
Hopefully he’s going to play some tracks off The Documentary… That was one of my favourite albums back in 2005!
Tickets for both shows are available for £25.00, to book head to www.gigsandtours.com or call 0844 811 0051
ScienZe has come on a long way since I first came across him reviewing his mixtape The Phone Tap(e) for Okayplayer. It’s great to see him finally releasing his debut album (in a sense of a retail release at least) and after an initial listen the project seems even stronger than I’d usually expect from the Brooklyn emcee. The project contains features from the likes of Asher Roth, Chuuwee, Chris Faust and more…
Hit the jump to check out the tracklist and stream the project. To purchase, head over to Itunes now!

I’ve always been a big supporter of Minneapolis hip-hop collective Doomtree, and remember how great the first self-titled collective record was when it dropped back in 2008. After honing their skills over the last few years and releasing a load of solo records, the group are back with a new collective effort entitled No Kings, dropping next week, which definitely shows growth in both its writing and production.
Lazerbeak sent me over a couple of videos documenting a getaway that lead to the writing of the majority of the new LP. Above check out the crew discussing the writing, and hit the jump to see the same but regarding the interesting collaborative methods they used for crafting the beats this time around…
Danny Brown teams up with his Fool’s Gold sister for a remix cut which will be included on her upcoming EP, Kiss & Tell, which will be available via Itunes from November 29th…
Been looking forward to this, Yelawolf’s tour diary from my city; Newcastle UK, where he (oddly) can’t find a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale…
Radioactive drops next Tuesday.
New visuals from Nitty Scott’s new Doobies x Popsicle Sticks; very effective in it’s simplicity…
