While I can’t pretend that I’m was a huge fan of Heavy D (I admittedly never did my research) I understand his importance in the game with regards to the people he has inspired, the most famous undoubtedly being Biggie (and his shout-out in ‘Juicy’). Obviously, as when anyone passes away, it’s a tragic thing and great to see celebrations of the person’s legacy, such as this one courtesy of Don Cannon and Mars (of 1500 Or Nothin’) which is great if you want to reminisce on Heavy D’s career, or if you’re like me, catch up to it!
