October’s Very Own just put out the first official single from Take Care which drops on October 24th. After first listen it’s sounding good, more rapping than his recent releases (“Marvin’s Room” etc) but doesn’t feel as epic to me as the first time I heard “Over”. As the title suggests he addresses many of the various criticisms, statements and “headlines” made about him by the media and his fans…
Stalley hooks up with Rick Ross, Lil’ Wayne and Drake at the Cleveland leg of their “I Am Still Music” tour…
Been looking forward to something new from Donald! Earlier this week he posted this teaser trailer on his blog, as well as the album art (which you can check out after the jump.) As of now there has been no word of a release date, lets just hope it drops soon…

The mysterious RnB act known as The Weeknd took to the stage for his debut live performance earlier this week at Toronto’s Mod Club. Some of the users of KanyeToThe were on hand to record the whole thing. The sound quality is pretty good and worth a listen (although there is a girl in the crowd who is way to loud in the mix, and I kept hearing her over The Weeknd…) It sounds like the live performance was great though!
I’ve been hearing about this “Tyler Diss” for a while but figured it was just some guy trying to diss Tyler to advance their own career. It is exactly that, however it is also a good track! I’ve checked out some more stuff from Hopsin, but it’s a little hit and miss, I’d personally prefer to listen to Tyler, but Hopsin does have great potential (he was also on Tech N9ne’s All 6′s and 7′s.)
Jon Connor pays his respects to the late MC Breed (who passed back in 2008) with this homage to “Ain’t No Future In Yo’ Frontin’”. This features as a bonus track on Jon’s latest album, Salvation, which is available now on Itunes…
Rapsody let loose a 9th Wonder produced cut that didn’t quite make her Thank H.E.R Now project, via Twitter this Morning (or late night where she is!) Enjoy…
Visuals from Problem’s new mixtape, Hotels, which dropped a couple of days ago. Download that here…
Looking forward to these visuals dropping. One of my favourite tracks from Section 80 (although I’d say that about most of them!)
