I’m guessing that to a huge percentage of HipHopFiend visitors, coming from the US, this documentary might seem pretty strange. Basically this is a good reflection of the hardcore hip-hop culture in the North East of England, where I come from. We have an unusual accent, and this quite often can end up making the local emcees come across as unrelatable to the rest of the world, and even the country. If you have an open mind, this documentary is worth checking to see how hip-hop manifests itself in niche areas all around the globe. For me it’s a dope insight into the artists around my area talking about why they do what they do, and how they feel the local area affects their work…
