Unfortunately this isn’t CDQ and is tagged, but this gives an insight into what to expect from Nas in the new year…
Truck North quickly assembles a solid new tape to welcome his fans into the new year, and to tide everyone over until he puts out his “I Told You So” mixtape and the Money Making Jam Boys project. The tape carries guest verses from Curt@!n$, Guilty Sampson and P.O.R.N.

Freeway drops a new track for the first day of the year. His “Diamond In the Rough” album should be out sometime soon…
Once again StreetRunner releases an unreleased mastered Lil’ Wayne track for the holidays…
Yet another “Hello Good Morning” remix, and yet another Eminem leak. It’s definitely good to hear more of the latter, but perhaps the track would be better if they just put on all of the guest verses and scrapped Diddy and his backing singers…
In the second part of HardKnockTV’s conversation with Kendrick Lamar, he discusses his upcoming collaborations with J. Cole (even previewing one of the beats,) who would be his picks for XXL freshmen, his favourite albums released this year (both of which are part of my 2010 round-up also,) and goes into talking about “people music” and why it is making a comeback…

Guest-blogger Hi-Jynx finally drops his new mixtape, which I’ve been looking forward to for a while now. We discussed it a while back in our BBM Conversation, where Jynx said of the project…
My previous effort “Music Monday” was an exhibition effort. This effort, “Your Love: Smells Like Money”, is a step in the direction of more coherent records. Together they are themed and individually they stand out from what I’ve done in the past. I have a snippet of a record on the project that’s floating around now and the response has been crazy. Its heavily geared towards females without diving into R&B territory, I believe that gives listeners something to anticipate because its rarely done by a hip-hop artist these days.
