Grimefiend: POW!91

Seven years ago Lethal Bizzle set the bar when he released the biggest anthem in Grime’s history- Pow. Grime was a new genre and many of the mc’s that featured were unheard of, so they all had 8 bars to prove themselves. The track became a monster in clubs and even made it to number 11 in the official UK top 40. It had so much energy and got the listeners so hyped it was banned in many nightclubs in 2004. It was produced by Dexplicit and featured Lethal B, Fumin, D Double E, Nappa, Jamakabi, Neeko, Flowdan, Ozzie B, Forcer & Demon.
Now in 2011 Lethal B is back with a new line up of todays top Grime mc’s and a producer named has Silencer remixed the original beat. This time it features JME, Wiley, Chipmunk, 2Face, P.Money, Ghetts & Kano. Only time can tell if this one will do as well as the original but I believe JME, Wiley and 2Face all brought the hype that the original had so it should do well in the clubs. Its also well accepted by Grime fans, their only problem seems to be Chipmunk being on the track. I thought he may try to regain credibility from the scene that made him famous but his egocentric eight bars didn’t do that. Check both versions out yourself and see what you think..
