This weekend it was sadly announced by DJ Premier that DJ Kool Herc is hospitalised, and whilst details were kept to a minimum, it is known that he requires surgery and does not have access to health insurance. DJ Premier is asking that anyone willing and able to contribute financially to help the father of the culture does so, in whatever way they can.
