My name is Kenan Bell aka KB
aka Kenan Antony aka KAB
I am an MC/producer from LA, CA
I used to teach spelling, vocabulary and penmanship to 4-6th graders
I’ve been a student of HIP HOP since 1983
Honor roll every semester…never missed a day!
Got suspended once in 4th grade for wilding out in class
That year, I was introduced to French by a fuzzy purple monster named FUZZY
And somewhere between the Iditarod and the Ticker Tape lessons,
I learned about Nirvana
I had Visions, imitation Jordans and real overpriced Doc Martins
I never rocked the Docs probably because they weren’t HIP HOP enough
I wore my neighbor’s snow boots to school once though
She didn’t mind
But I hid out by the classroom all day so nobody would see me
I know they see me now
